BFA Thesis Exhibition 2017
Each year, the graduating class of OCAC students conceptualizes, plans, funds, and executes an undergraduate show that exhibits the BFA students' thesis work. This students are responsible for planning the exhibition, finding a location for the show, fundraising the necessary capital and materials, and managing all of the other details that go into putting on a successful show. This process provides students with valuable knowledge and experience that prepares them for a career as a professional artist.
The images below show the installed exhibition that presents their thesis project, developed over the course of their final year at the Oregon College of Art and Craft. The students come from various traditions and disciplines, but all with one goal: the honing, celebration, and advancement of craft.
