Loo Bain Joins OCAC's Fibers Department as Studio Manager
Loo Bain is joining the Oregon College of Art and Craft community as the new Fibers Department Studio Manager. Loo brings a wealth of knowledge with her. She received her MFA in Fiber and Material Studies at the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and her BFA in Fiber, Material Studies and Sculpture at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Chicago, IL.
Loo has taught undergraduate courses at the Tyler School of Art and led workshops at Arrowmont School of Crafts in Gatlinburg, TN. From 2012-2016, she worked as the Fiber and Material Studies Studio Technician at the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, PA. Additionally, she has assisted and collaborated with many different artitsts, including Michael Rackowitz, Lead Pencil Projects, Pepone Osario, and Ebony Patterson.
