OCAC Faculty Take Part in SDA Conference

SDA logo.jpgFaculty members from OCAC'S Fibers department will be participating in events as part of this year's Surface Design Association (SDA) conference. Fibers Department Head Emily Nachison will lead a panel on fashion and Technology on Friday, August 4 at Portland State University at 1:30pm. Fibers Faculty Shelley Socolofsky will lecture about her work on Friday, August 4 at Portland State University at 1:30pm. The lecture is sponsored by the American Tapestry Alliance. 

Surface Design Association will hold its biennial conference, Making Our Mark: SDA at 40, in Portland, Oregon, August 3-6, 2017. The conference will include a lineup of speakers, panel discussions, demonstrations and exhibitions. Keynote speakers include Sheila Pepe, Josh Faught, Aram Han Sifuentes and Jane Lackey. OCAC is proud to be co-hosting the National Surface Design Conference.
