Once you visit, you will likely fall in love with Oregon College of Art and Craft. The College is situated on a serene wooded landscape of 9+ acres in the West Hills of Portland with views of the coastal mountains. Just minutes from downtown Portland, ample parking and easy access to public transportation are available. If you are not able to travel to campus, we encourage you to see an OCAC representative on the road in your area.
In addition to regular daily weekday tours, the College hosts open houses and events through out the year where information sessions and tours of campus are available. We also travel around the nation and attend many National Portfolio Days and college fairs.
Schedule a Campus Visit
To schedule a tour and/or meeting with an admissions counselor please contact us ahead of time so that we may have someone available to answer questions and show you around campus. Weekday tours and appointments are offered Monday to Friday, typically at 10 am and 2 pm. Tours last approximately 45 minutes. One-on-one meetings with an admissions counselor are also available. Counselors can advise prospective students on the degree programs available, the application process, assembling a portfolio, how to apply for financial aid, the scholarship process, as well as explain what it is like to study Craft at OCAC and in Portland.
Group and High School tours are welcome to campus, as are individual tours for college or secondary school instructors who wish to learn more about OCAC.

Portland, Oregon is a city with a comprehensive public transportation system as well as a city of bicycle enthusiasts. In fact, in 2011 US News and World Report ranked Portland’s public transportation number five in the country. The system includes light rail called the MAX (which runs to Portland International Airport), an extensive bus system, street cars downtown, and bicycle lanes throughout the city.
The College is conveniently located on the number 20 bus line that stops right out front of campus. In addition, OCAC is about one mile from the Sunset TC MAX Station, an estimated walk of 20-30 minutes or a 15 minute bike ride. Visit trimet.org for schedules, fare, and more information.

Oregon College of Art and Craft is represented at several area and national events. Typical events include National Portfolio Days where students are best served by assembling their portfolios and sharing it with an OCAC admissions counselor who can give them feedback on this important potential application piece.
You may also find OCAC at various college fairs, including select fairs organized by the National Association for College Admissions Counseling. These are information-gathering sessions where you can visit OCAC's table and learn more about our college.
The College also actively visits high schools, communty colleges and art centers, and presents to art students and teachers alike. If your school is interested in a visit, you may complete the request a presentation online form or email the Admissions Office at email@example.com.
